This is an app that helps esport players match professional coaches and conduct 1-on-1 training. Advanced players can use their game skills to become professional coaches, and players who want to improve their skills can also use the application to find targeted coaches and to help them. Having someone with an in-depth knowledge of the game can be very beneficial.

The concept of the logo is the relevant visual elements of the e-sport gamers, such as the diamonds won by the player, the mouse arrow, the shape of the game map, the meaning of communication, etc. Moreover, I used blue and green gradients for the logo. Blue and Light green could give users a sense of technology, and customers can have the feeling of delivering energy for them when they use it.

Users can get free points from the platform by logging in for the first time, sharing with friends, and commenting on coaches. Or recharge from a bank card and use points to subscribe to courses and coaches. Users can choose different game courses according to their needs and level of improvement. Keep in touch with the coach, train, and play effectively.

Solution

Advanced players can use their game skills to become professional coaches, and players who want to improve their skills can also use the application to find targeted coaches and to help them. Having someone with an in-depth knowledge of the game can be very beneficial.

User Personas

Jessica is 23 years old and is a software engineer from New York City. She started to join the Esport club when she was in college, and she likes to participate in Esport competitions organized by the community. But after graduation, I lost a lot of time to practice playing games. She will watch many games and competitions on youtube. But she hopes that a professional coach can point out her problems and effectively improve her gaming level. So that she can participate in some professional competitions in the city. Now Jessica found Git Gud. She can watch live coaching and chat with the coach at any time, or she will recommend suitable courses to her based on the feedback from her coach through Git Gud.

User Journey

After understanding my customer group, I began to associate and displayed the user journey. Jessica wants to improve her gaming skills, she could only watch Esport gaming videos on Youtube. But after a long time, she realized that only watching YouTube improve slowly. She wants to find a game coach to guide her in a targeted manner.

User Flowchart

The first step of building an app was to figure out how many functions are the user need. By using brainstorming everything that the app could possibly do. First, I was given lots of function, I asked my interviewees to look through and see if these functions are what they need and the screen size is comfortable to watch.

Wireframe

When making the wireframe, I tried to add more features that allow customers to get points for free to increase customers’ interest in using this app. In addition, on the page where the user selects the game, I realized I need to add a search bar to facilitate the user to find the game he wants to select. Then these games are automatically organized into the user’s personal game list. In the home screen recommendation function, more relevant videos and news can be provided according to the user’s game list.
